Please note you must be an active financial member for 12 months of ADS to be considered for these awards.

ADS Travel Grant
This year a number of ADS Travel Grants will be awarded to junior investigators who have an abstract accepted for presentation at the 2026 Australasian Diabetes Congress (ADC), which is being held as a joint event with the biennial International Diabetes Federation Western Pacific Region (IDF-WPR) Congress and the 2026 Metabolic Diseases conference, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in VIC from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st August 2026. To apply for an ADS Travel Grant, you must have been a financial member of the Australian Diabetes Society for at least 12months (joined as a member by April 2025).The number and size of grants will depend on the number and suitability of applications and the funds available. Applications will be prioritised using abstract review scores. Please check the ADS website for eligibility criteria.
